Back to the Roots.

It has been discovered that between the years of 2000 and 2001, Nicholas Black and several others both organized and officiated over several bare-knuckle, pit-fighting events throughout the united states. The events matched opponents together based on their weight and let them fight for 10 minutes without pause. The winners were determined by either knock-out or submission. There were no decisions. Mr. Black and his associates would routinely allow personal grudge matches to be settled behind closed doors at a facility that they all trained at during the week. The pit fights went on for several years until state regulators began to crack down and file injunctions against them, bringing a halt to the matches. the Attorney's General and several congressmen stepped in to insure that such "underground fighting" would be discontinued.
